Motorola has officially introduced the Edge 60 in India, a new contender in the mid-range smartphone market. This device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor and showcases a design reminiscent of other models released earlier this year. Priced competitively at ₹25,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, the Edge 60 aims to capture the attention of consumers within the sub-₹30,000 segment, a market already filled with strong competitors such as the iQOO Neo 10R, Infinix GT 30 Pro, Poco X7 Pro, and OnePlus Nord 4. Starting from June 17, it will be available for purchase through Flipkart, Motorola's official website, and various offline retailers. The Edge 60 boasts a stylish vegan leather back and will come in two eye-catching colors: Pantone Gibraltar Sea and Pantone Shamrock. Its display is impressive, featuring a 6.67-inch 1.5K 10-bit pOLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and remarkable peak brightness of 4,500 nits (1,400 nits in High Brightness Mode), all protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Furthermore, the device is built to withstand the elements, earning an IP68 and IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, alongside MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability. Under the hood, the Edge 60 is equipped with the Dimensity 7400 chipset and the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, supporting up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with expandable options up to 1TB via microSD. On the photography front, it features a versatile camera setup, including a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with autofocus, and a 10MP telephoto lens with OIS. For selfies, users can take advantage of the 50MP front camera capable of recording 4K videos at 30 frames per second. The smartphone runs on Motorola's Hello UI based on Android 15, promising three years of operating system updates and four years of security patches. To power all these features, the Edge 60 is equipped with a robust 5,500mAh battery that supports 68W wired fast charging.
