Two days after OpenAI’s Atlas, Microsoft launches a nearly identical AI browser

On Thursday, Microsoft introduced an exciting array of features for its AI assistant, culminating in a groundbreaking initiative that integrates artificial intelligence into one of its flagship products. It’s important to note that neither Microsoft nor OpenAI originated the concept of an AI-enhanced web browser; however, the visual and functional parallels between the two offerings are striking. Both products share a similar aesthetic, with Microsoft's Copilot featuring a darker background and adhering to Windows design conventions for its interface elements. While Copilot presents its AI features in a new tab format rather than a split-screen layout, the core functionalities remain largely akin to those of Atlas.
