Reports indicate that Meta is preparing to launch a new generation of AI-enhanced smart glasses following the success of its Ray-Ban models. These glasses, which can analyze environments and provide real-time information, have emerged as a bright spot in Meta's efforts to pioneer disruptive technologies, especially after missing early opportunities in the smartphone market. The popularity of the Ray-Ban smart glasses is noteworthy, with parent company EssilorLuxottica reporting a tripling of revenue from these products year-over-year.
