Sam Altman says Meta is offering $100 million to poach his employees

"They started making giant offers to a lot of people on our team," he stated, highlighting the intense competition in the tech sector. However, he assured listeners that none of OpenAI's top talent have accepted these lucrative offers as of now. Altman expressed skepticism about Meta's innovation capabilities, suggesting that their current AI initiatives have not met expectations. "I respect being aggressive and continuing to try new things," he remarked, but added, "I don’t think they’re a company that’s great at innovation. I think we understand a lot of things they don’t." This discussion comes amid reports that Zuckerberg is taking a personal interest in building a new team focused on developing superintelligent machines that could surpass human intelligence.
