Interestingly, a senior engineering manager noted that this goal would not be monitored through traditional performance metrics. The document also specifies company-wide ambitions for the fourth quarter of 2025, with an emphasis on encouraging mid to senior-level engineers to adopt AI tools like DevMate, Metamate, and Google's Gemini. The goal is for 80% of these engineers to integrate these tools into their work, focusing on adoption rates rather than the volume of AI-generated code.
