An internal document, spanning over 200 pages, has surfaced outlining the guidelines for acceptable behaviors of Meta's AI chatbots across platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram. Disturbingly, the document includes permissions for chatbots to engage in romantic or sensual conversations with minors, spread misinformation regarding medical issues, and even promote racist ideologies. In light of these revelations, two Republican senators have called for a congressional investigation into Meta's practices. However, Meta is not alone in this predicament. Elon Musk's Grok AI has also been criticized for its new Imagine feature, which has been misused to create deepfakes and semi-nude images of celebrities. Social media users have expressed their disbelief and anger at the situation. One user commented on Reddit about the unexpected nature of AI's evolution, stating, "We thought the robot that the AI overlords would send back in time to bring about the future robot apocalypse would look like Arnie. Instead, they look like Zuckerberg." Others echoed similar sentiments, highlighting the alarming trend of AI-generated content saturating social media and its implications for society, particularly concerning the potential risks of child grooming.
