Flipkart is gearing up for its Republic Day Sale 2026, set to launch in India on January 17. Ahead of this major event, the e-commerce platform has unveiled enticing early bird offers, prominently featuring significant price cuts on popular electronics, including Apple’s latest iPhone 17. Currently, the iPhone 17 is available on Flipkart for an effective price of ₹74,990. This price reflects a combination of direct discounts, exchange benefits, and select bank promotions. Customers can choose from an array of five colors: Lavender, Mist Blue, Sage Green, White, and Black. This new price is a substantial drop from the iPhone 17’s original launch price of ₹82,900 for the base model with 256GB of storage. Launched in September 2025, the iPhone 17 boasts a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, complete with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, showcasing a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the iPhone 16, which featured a smaller 6.1-inch display and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Enhanced durability is also a highlight, thanks to the Ceramic Shield 2 protection, which enables peak brightness levels reaching up to 3,000 nits. The device is rated IP68, offering robust resistance to dust and water. Under the hood, the iPhone 17 is driven by Apple’s A19 chipset, accompanied by a 16-core Neural Engine, promising a remarkable 40% increase in CPU performance over previous models. In terms of photography, it is equipped with a dual rear camera system featuring a 48-megapixel main sensor and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens. For selfies, it includes an 18-megapixel Centre Stage camera, similar to that found in the Pro variants. The official start of the Flipkart Republic Day Sale 2026 is on January 17, with exclusive 24-hour early access for Flipkart Plus and Black members. Additionally, shoppers can take advantage of a 10% instant discount and flexible EMI options when using HDFC Bank credit cards.
