Apple’s next iPhone event is happening September 9 at 1 pm Eastern

Apple has officially scheduled its upcoming product reveal for Tuesday, September 9, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, which translates to 1 p.m. Eastern Time. The tech giant made the announcement today, although details about the event's content remain largely under wraps. Historically, Apple's September events have focused primarily on new iPhone releases, and this year is expected to be no different. Speculation surrounding this year's iPhones hints at a more dramatic redesign compared to recent models. While Apple has not yet ventured into the realm of foldable devices, changes are anticipated. Among the most talked-about features are wider camera areas that will extend across the back of the devices. Additionally, there are strong indications that Apple will introduce a new model dubbed the 'iPhone Air,' which aims to be exceptionally thin and lightweight. In addition to the expected iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, there are whispers that the regular non-Pro Max version might be phased out, similar to the fate of the iPhone mini from previous years. Beyond the iPhone lineup, Apple typically showcases various other gadgets at this September event. The Apple Watch is often highlighted, with rumors suggesting the launch of the mainstream Series 11, alongside the high-end Ultra 3 and the budget-friendly SE 3. Moreover, attendees may also see a new iteration of the Apple TV and updates to Apple's audio devices, including the AirPods and HomePods. The event will be streamed live on YouTube as well as on Apple's official events website, making it accessible to fans and tech enthusiasts alike.
