Luminous Power Technologies has officially launched its new brand, EDGE, which aims to cater to India's growing demand for smart and portable energy solutions. The centerpiece of this launch is the EDGE GO 1500, touted as India’s inaugural portable power station equipped with an integrated music system. The EDGE GO 1500 is designed to deliver an impressive output of 1,200W and features rapid charging capabilities, reaching full charge in just 90 minutes. This innovative power station can simultaneously support over 90 devices, making it a versatile choice for various applications, from remote work to outdoor adventures. Incorporating entertainment into functionality, the EDGE GO 1500 comes with a built-in 90W speaker, two wireless microphones, a guitar port, and Bluetooth connectivity. Luminous positions this product as an essential tool for modern consumers who value flexibility in their energy solutions. The devices are solar-ready, fire-resistant, and IP34 splash-proof, ensuring durability and sustainability through their use of advanced lithium-ion technology. Preeti Bajaj, the CEO and Managing Director of Luminous Power Technologies, emphasized that this launch signifies a departure from conventional energy products. She characterized EDGE as a groundbreaking category in consumer technology that shapes how contemporary individuals live, work, and connect, highlighting its blend of portability and environmental responsibility. Neelima Burra, Chief Strategy, Transformation and Marketing Officer at Luminous, stated that the products will initially be available exclusively online via Amazon India and the Luminous eShop, reflecting a digital-first approach. The brand specifically targets creators and adventurers seeking energy solutions that seamlessly integrate into their daily lives. Ganesh Moorthi, Chief Technology Officer at Luminous, detailed that the EDGE GO series will utilize LiFePO battery technology, with options available in three power capacities: 1,200W, 600W, and 300W. The flagship EDGE GO 1500 is capable of supporting up to 12 devices at once, catering to both professional and leisure needs. Although the EDGE products will start as online offerings, plans for offline experiential rollouts are in the pipeline, ensuring nationwide accessibility, even in remote regions, through Amazon India’s robust delivery network.
