Lovable's revenue has jumped 33 percent in a month amid vibe coding frenzy

Lovable, a Swedish startup revolutionizing vibe coding, has witnessed an impressive 33% surge in its annual recurring revenue, leaping from $300 million to $400 million in a mere month. This remarkable growth comes at a time when AI-powered coding tools, such as Anthropic's Claude Code, are gaining traction in the tech landscape. Founded by Anton Osika and Fabian Hedin, Lovable aims to simplify coding for those with minimal programming experience, empowering non-technical users to create software and applications through AI. Since its inception in late 2024, the company reached $100 million in ARR within just eight months and doubled that figure to $200 million by the close of 2025. Lovable's impressive growth trajectory is underscored by a daily active user base that has surpassed 15 million, with approximately 200,000 new vibe coding projects launched each day. The startup is experiencing its fastest expansion in the enterprise sector, a market it entered in August. Despite the rise of competitors like Claude Code, Lovable's Chief Revenue Officer, Ryan Meadows, reports that many users are adopting both platforms, with professional developers favoring Claude while non-technical employees lean towards Lovable. Meadows describes this trend as a collective enhancement in the industry, noting, "It's a rising tide." With a lean team of just 146 employees, Lovable is on the verge of a major hiring initiative, anticipating a workforce of around 350 by year-end, primarily in product and engineering roles. In addition to its Stockholm engineering base, the company will establish its first U.S. office in Boston to support its go-to-market strategy. "We can't hire fast enough," Meadows stated, highlighting the company's commitment to growth and innovation in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
