Lovable reportedly in talks to double its valuation to $13.2B

Lovable, a Swedish startup specializing in vibe-coding technology, is currently negotiating a significant funding round aimed at raising $300 million. If successful, this would elevate the company's valuation to an impressive $13.2 billion, doubling its previous valuation of $6.6 billion reached just last December, as reported by Sifted. Menlo Ventures, which recently unveiled a substantial $3 billion fund, is anticipated to spearhead this funding initiative. In less than three years since its inception, Lovable has achieved remarkable growth, boasting an annualized revenue run rate of $500 million as of June. The platform caters to a diverse clientele, including entrepreneurs, designers, and sales professionals who utilize its services to create websites and e-commerce platforms. Additionally, Lovable supplies its innovative vibe-coding tool to major corporations such as Workday, Asana, and Nvidia. Vibe coding, which enables users to construct software by simply articulating their ideas, has emerged as one of the most sought-after and profitable applications of artificial intelligence. Lovable is not alone in this burgeoning field; other notable vibe-coding ventures include Replit, which was valued at $9 billion in March, and Factory, which recently secured $150 million at a $1.5 billion valuation to aid enterprises in developing AI agents. Furthermore, Cursor, a company providing vibe coding solutions for developers, made headlines last month when it was acquired by SpaceX for a staggering $60 billion.
