MX Master 4 launches in India at Rs 15,995; A Logitech mouse with customisable haptics

Logitech has officially launched the MX Master 4 in India, marking a significant addition to its prestigious MX Master series, tailored for creative professionals and developers. This innovative mouse introduces cutting-edge haptic feedback technology along with a software overlay designed to enhance workflow efficiency. Setting itself apart, the MX Master 4 is the first in its series to incorporate customizable haptic features. These subtle vibrations during scrolling and navigation provide an enhanced tactile experience, making it ideal for tasks like video editing, design, and data analysis. Tolya Polyanker, General Manager of the MX Business at Logitech, emphasized the need for advanced tools in today’s fast-paced environment, stating, "We designed MX Master 4 to elevate user immersion and speed through tactile feedback and quick access to essential tools via the Actions Ring software overlay." In addition to its hardware advancements, the MX Master 4 boasts the 'Actions Ring', a digital overlay powered by Logi Options+ software. This feature allows users to place their most-used tools and app-specific shortcuts directly on their screens, potentially reducing repetitive mouse movements by up to 63% and saving professionals around 33% of their time in software like Excel or Photoshop. Under the hood, the MX Master 4 includes the renowned MagSpeed Scroll Wheel, which can scroll through 1,000 lines per second. It also features an 8,000 DPI sensor capable of tracking on almost any surface, including glass. For those in shared work environments, the mouse includes 'Quiet Clicks', offering a tactile response while minimizing noise by 90% compared to its predecessor. Connectivity has seen significant improvements as well, with the new model offering double the strength of previous versions, thanks to a high-performance chip and a redesigned USB-C dongle. The MX Master 4 can connect to and switch between up to three devices, including laptops, desktops, and tablets, across various operating systems. A full charge provides up to 70 days of use, and a quick one-minute charge via USB-C offers three hours of operation. Sustainability is also a focus, as the mouse is made from a minimum of 48% post-consumer recycled plastic and features a low-carbon aluminium thumbwheel. The battery contains 100% recycled cobalt. For enterprise customers, the MX Master 4 for Business includes remote monitoring capabilities through the Logitech Sync platform, allowing IT teams to manage devices efficiently. The MX Master 4 is available in two color options: Graphite and Pale Grey, and is priced at Rs 15,995. Additionally, it comes with a complimentary one-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud.
