LG launches 2025 OLED and QNED AI TVs in India starting at Rs 74,990

In a significant move for home entertainment, LG has introduced its 2025 television lineup in India, featuring the latest OLED evo and QNED evo models that boast advanced AI functionalities. These new televisions will be offered in a variety of sizes, including impressive ultra-large formats reaching up to 100 inches, with prices commencing at ₹74,990. Central to this innovative range is the enhanced Alpha AI Processor Gen2, which is crafted to provide personalized viewing experiences through sophisticated user recognition and contextual searching capabilities. The upgraded AI Magic Remote now includes a dedicated voice command button, while features like AI Voice ID and AI Welcome automatically identify users and switch profiles as needed. Additionally, the AI Concierge function assesses individual viewing habits to suggest content, and the newly integrated LLM-powered AI Search can comprehend conversational queries with greater accuracy. For setup and technical support, LG has introduced an AI Chatbot that provides on-screen assistance, while tools such as AI Picture Wizard and AI Sound Wizard allow users to adjust settings to fit their preferences. The OLED evo series is enhanced with LG’s Brightness Booster Ultimate technology, which significantly elevates brightness and clarity across different lighting environments. When paired with the Alpha 11 processor, these TVs deliver exceptional upscaling, pixel-level image refinement, and compatibility with both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. A new Filmmaker Mode, equipped with Ambient Light Compensation, adjusts visuals to align with the room's lighting, ensuring the original artistic intent is preserved. On the audio front, AI Sound Pro generates a virtual 11.1.2 surround sound experience, enhancing vocal clarity by isolating dialogue from background noise—especially beneficial for action-packed scenes or intricate dialogues. Gamers will appreciate that the OLED evo series now supports refresh rates of up to 4K 165Hz and is certified for both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium, featuring built-in Game Optimiser modes tailored for various gaming genres. For those who favor LCD displays, the QNED evo series combines Mini-LED backlighting with Dynamic QNED Colour, LG’s alternative to traditional quantum dot technology. This series promises rich color accuracy, enhanced contrast, and picture refinement through AI analysis. AI Sound Pro is also incorporated here, delivering a virtual 9.1.2 channel surround sound experience with customizable sound profiles. The new TV models will be available through LG’s retail and online platforms starting in July 2025. Key offerings include: OLED evo G5 Ultra-Large (97”) priced at ₹24,99,990, OLED evo C5 (ranging from 42” to 83”) starting at ₹1,49,990, QNED evo 86A Ultra-Large (100”) listed at ₹11,99,990, and QNED 8BA (from 43” to 75”) starting at ₹74,990.
