Harvey reportedly raising at $11B valuation just months after it hit $8B

The remarkable ascent of Harvey, a legal AI startup, shows no signs of slowing down as venture capitalists continue to invest heavily in its growth. Reports indicate that the company is in discussions to secure an additional $200 million, which would increase its valuation to $11 billion. This new funding round is reportedly led by renowned firms Sequoia and GIC from Singapore. If successful, this funding would mark a staggering $3 billion increase in Harvey's valuation within just a few months. Previously, in December, Harvey confirmed a $160 million raise at an $8 billion valuation, supported by Andreessen Horowitz. In June, the company celebrated a $300 million Series E funding round at a valuation of $5 billion, with participation from Kleiner Perkins and Coatue. Earlier, in February, Harvey attracted another $300 million in Series D funding, also led by Sequoia, at a valuation of $3 billion. Harvey specializes in providing large language model AI solutions tailored for law firms and has achieved significant revenue growth, reaching an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $190 million by the end of 2025. This figure is a remarkable increase from an ARR of $100 million reported in August, showcasing nearly a doubling of contracted revenues in under six months. So, what has driven Harvey to become a standout player in the AI enterprise application space? Founder and CEO Winston Weinberg shared insights with TechCrunch’s Connie Loizos about the compelling journey that has won over some of Silicon Valley's leading venture capitalists.
