
Lava has officially launched the Agni 4 in India, marking a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the Agni 3. This new smartphone represents a blend of enhanced design, robust performance, and advanced AI capabilities, all while upholding the brand’s commitment to user-friendly software and sturdy build quality. The Agni 4 is priced at ₹22,999 for its sole configuration, which includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This introductory pricing also comes with special offers for debit and credit card users. Starting November 25 at 12 PM IST, the device will be available for purchase on Amazon, and it can be found in two stylish color options: Phantom Black and Lunar Mist. Featuring a large 6.67-inch flat AMOLED display, the Agni 4 boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive local peak brightness of 2,400 nits, resulting in a pixel density of 446ppi. The smartphone is framed in aluminum alloy, showcasing ultra-slim 1.7mm bezels and a matte AG glass rear. Its durability is enhanced with a Super Anti-Drop Diamond Frame, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Additionally, a newly introduced Wet Touch Control mode enhances the phone's touch responsiveness, even when fingers are damp. Under the hood, the Agni 4 is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8350 chipset, complemented by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Lava claims that the device scores over 1.4 million points on AnTuTu v10, showcasing its superior performance capabilities. The smartphone is also equipped with a VC liquid-cooling system that features a substantial 4,300 sq mm heat dissipation area, ensuring stable performance, particularly during gaming and demanding applications. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the dual rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies and video calls, there's a 50MP front-facing camera, also with electronic image stabilization, capable of recording videos in 4K at 60fps. A standout feature of the Agni 4 is the introduction of Lava's Vayu AI platform, which provides various conversational system controls and multiple AI agents. Users can access features such as AI Math and English Teachers, AI photo editing and generation tools, AI call summaries, and even horoscope insights. Additionally, Google’s Circle to Search functionality is supported, enhancing the device's capabilities through voice and vision-based intelligence. The smartphone houses a robust 5,000mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging, allowing users to reach 50% charge in just 19 minutes. Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, anti-theft alerts, and an anti-peeping mode. Connectivity options are extensive, covering 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, USB 3.2 Type-C, 4G LTE, and an IR blaster. The Agni 4 also comes equipped with dual stereo speakers and a high-quality microphone, rounding out its impressive feature set.
