Each KPMG AI agent is assigned a unique identifier and a systems card, enabling the firm to meticulously track their actions and interactions. To ensure accountability, KPMG operates an AI operations center that combines the efforts of both AI systems and human supervisors. Gloede points out that conducting simulated risk scenarios, also known as red-teaming, is essential for testing the resilience of AI systems before they encounter real-world challenges. Additionally, McKinsey faced scrutiny after a cybersecurity breach involving its AI platform, emphasizing the need for comprehensive security measures.
