Reliance has revealed a suite of innovative AI-driven features set to enhance the JioHotstar app, including a new voice assistant, real-time dubbing capabilities, and customizable viewing angles. During the announcement, Akash Ambani, Chairman of Jio, introduced Riya, the app's new voice-enabled search assistant. He emphasized, "Navigating through thousands of hours of content can be daunting. That's why we developed Riya, to make content discovery seamless and intuitive. Riya understands natural language, allowing users to search for specific moments from their favorite shows effortlessly." In addition to Riya, Ambani unveiled the Voice Print feature, which utilizes real-time voice cloning technology. This feature enables users to enjoy content in their local language while retaining the original actor's voice and expressions, thanks to advanced lip-sync technology. "With AI voice cloning and lip-sync capabilities, your beloved stars will speak in your language, maintaining their authentic voice and perfect synchronization on screen," Ambani explained. Another exciting addition is the JioLenZ feature, which offers users the option to watch content from various angles, tailored to their specific viewing device. Furthermore, the MaxView 3.0 feature will provide real-time enhancements, including live scorecards, instant highlights, and multiple camera angles, all designed to offer a more immersive cricket viewing experience. Ambani stated, "This feature is crafted to align with the way you naturally hold your phone, making the experience more engaging and intuitive." While these features promise to transform the user experience on JioHotstar, Ambani did not disclose when they would be officially launched, and no timeline has been provided on the RIL or Jio websites.
