Reliance Jio has unveiled its latest offering for prepaid users, the Jio Happy New Year 2026 plan, which includes complimentary access to a Gemini AI Pro subscription, unlimited 5G connectivity, and select OTT subscriptions. This new initiative follows Jio's recent collaboration with Google, which provided subscribers with free access to Google AI Pro for 1.5 years, positioning Jio as a strong competitor against Airtel's free Perplexity subscription. The Happy New Year 2026 plan features three distinct packages: the Hero Annual Recharge pack, the Super Celebration Monthly plan, and the budget-friendly Flexi pack. The Hero Annual Recharge pack is priced at ₹3,599 and offers a generous 12-month validity. This package includes unlimited 5G access, 2.5GB of daily data, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS per day, along with a Gemini AI Pro subscription valued at over ₹35,100. For those looking for a monthly option, the Super Celebration Monthly plan is available for ₹500, valid for 28 days. Similar to the annual plan, it provides unlimited 5G and voice call access, but with 2GB of data per day. This plan is particularly appealing to users who enjoy streaming, as it bundles several popular OTT services, including YouTube Premium, JioHotstar, Amazon Prime Video, Sony LIV, ZEE5, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, and many more. The most affordable option among the trio is the Flexi pack, which costs ₹103 and is also valid for 28 days; however, it remains unclear whether it includes the same calling and SMS benefits as the other plans. This pack does guarantee 5GB of data per day, and users can select from various entertainment packs based on their preferences. To activate any of these new plans, users can recharge through the Jio website, the MyJio app, or other existing recharge channels.
