iPhone Air 2 could fix two of the biggest issues with iPhone Air

In addition to display enhancements, prior reports from The Information have suggested that Apple is contemplating the addition of a dual-camera system for the iPhone Air 2, although specifics about the type of lens—whether it will feature an ultra-wide or telephoto option—remain undisclosed. The iPhone Air 2 is expected to launch alongside the 20th-anniversary iPhone in 2027. Initial sales of the original model were sluggish, mirroring trends seen with Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge. While there have been speculations regarding a 2026 release, sources indicate that Apple may delay the iPhone Air 2 launch until the following year. Notably, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has highlighted that Apple has never committed to annual launches for the iPhone Air series.
