As anticipation builds for the unveiling of the iPhone 17 series in just five days, speculation surrounding the pricing of Apple’s latest flagship devices is at an all-time high. A new leak from Trendforce has shed light on what consumers might expect when the new models hit the shelves. According to the leak, the base model, the standard iPhone 17, is expected to maintain its starting price of $799 for the 128GB version. However, there are indications that prices may increase for the iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. These models could see a price increase of $50 to $100, reflecting the anticipated design innovations and hardware improvements. If these predictions hold true, the iPhone 17 Air may retail between $949 and $1,000, while the iPhone 17 Pro could be priced between $1,049 and $1,100. The top-tier iPhone 17 Pro Max is projected to be in the range of $1,150 to $1,199. The report also corroborates earlier rumors regarding the upgrades coming to the iPhone 17 series. All four models are expected to feature the same ProMotion 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display technology. Notably, the iPhone 17 is set to sport a 6.3-inch display, with the iPhone 17 Air likely featuring a larger 6.6-inch screen. Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are expected to retain their respective display sizes of 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches. Significant enhancements are also anticipated for the front-facing camera, with an upgrade from 12MP in the previous generation to an impressive 24MP in the new lineup. In terms of performance, the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air are expected to be powered by the A19 chipset, while the Pro models could feature the more advanced A19 Pro chipset. Additionally, aside from the standard iPhone 17, the other three variants are likely to come with 12GB of RAM, a notable increase from the 8GB offered in last year’s models. With these exciting features and price points on the horizon, all eyes will be on Apple’s upcoming launch event for more details on the iPhone 17 series.
