An innovative feature, the Glyph Matrix on the back, has received an upgrade to include 489 LEDs and introduces a new Glyph Button for app shortcuts and visual alerts. It also features engaging “Glyph Toys” like Rock-Paper-Scissors and Magic 8 Ball. Developers can create custom integrations through the Glyph SDK, now available on the Nothing Community. Additionally, the Phone (3) introduces Essential Space and the Essential Key, allowing users to quickly record thoughts, capture screenshots, or start voice-to-text notes. Features like Flip to Record enhance the user experience, providing transcriptions and summaries stored securely on the device. Running on Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15, the Phone (3) promises five years of Android updates and seven years of security patches, with Nothing OS 4.0 featuring Android 16 already confirmed for release later this year. In India, the device is equipped with a slightly larger 5500mAh battery (rated at 5150mAh globally), utilizing silicon-carbon technology for greater energy density. With 65W wired charging, it achieves a full charge in just 54 minutes, and it also supports 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. Having undergone over 95,000 quality tests, including drop and bend tests, the Phone (3) is designed with sustainability in mind, using 100% recycled aluminum and eco-friendly packaging. The pricing in India starts at ₹79,999 for the 12GB/256GB model and ₹89,999 for the 16GB/512GB variant.
