On April 6, CMF, a subsidiary of Nothing Inc, unveiled the Watch 3 Pro in India, showcasing a sleek smartwatch designed for fitness enthusiasts and tech aficionados alike. The device boasts a robust metal body, comfortable silicone straps, and a suite of features tailored for health monitoring and smart functionalities. Available in four eye-catching colors—Light Green, Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Orange—the Watch 3 Pro follows a minimalist design philosophy. It is rated IP68, ensuring it can endure immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for approximately 30 minutes. The smartwatch flaunts a vibrant 1.43-inch AMOLED display with ultra-thin bezels and supports an Always-On Display, offering a 10% larger screen-to-body ratio compared to its predecessor, the Watch Pro 2. Users can personalize their experience with over 120 customizable watch faces, which include options for video, photos, and AI-generated designs via Watch Face Studio. The watch also features both full-screen and mini widgets for fitness tracking, weather updates, music controls, and reminders. When it comes to activity tracking, the Watch 3 Pro supports an impressive 131 sports modes and utilizes a dual-band, five-system GPS for precise route tracking. Enhancements include a 6-axis accelerometer sensor, boasting a 50% improvement over the previous model, which significantly enhances motion monitoring capabilities. Health tracking is a cornerstone of the Watch 3 Pro, featuring a four-channel heart rate sensor designed to deliver accurate readings across various skin tones and workout intensities. The device's Active Score feature provides users with a comprehensive overview of their weekly activity using MET data. Additional health functionalities include blood oxygen monitoring, stress tracking, guided breathing exercises, hydration reminders, inactivity alerts, and women’s health tracking. A standout feature of the smartwatch is its integration with ChatGPT on Nothing OS, enabling users to interact through natural language voice commands to ask questions, acquire information, and set reminders effortlessly. Other notable features encompass a built-in voice recorder with auto-transcription, the Essential News tool for tailored daily updates, Bluetooth calling capabilities via an integrated microphone and speaker, and support for quick replies of up to 140 characters. CMF claims that the Watch 3 Pro can achieve a battery life of up to 11 days with intensive usage, although this drops to approximately four and a half days when the Always-On Display is activated. A complete charge takes about 99 minutes. With its array of display features, fitness tools, health monitoring capabilities, and voice-led functions, the CMF Watch 3 Pro is poised to hit Indian retail shelves later this week. Priced at Rs 7,999, it will be available for purchase starting May 8 through Flipkart and authorized outlets across India.
