Kavin Bharti Mittal, the founder of Hike and son of Bharti Enterprises chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal, has made headlines by claiming he developed several comprehensive applications in just seven days using OpenClaw and Anthropic’s Claude Code. In a detailed update shared on X (formerly Twitter), he emphasized how advancements in agentic artificial intelligence are drastically reducing the time and resources needed for product development, stating that tasks which once required large teams and substantial budgets can now be accomplished by a single individual in a fraction of the time. "I set up OpenClaw exactly seven days ago. Here’s what I've built. In 2025, this would have taken a team of 10 to 20 people between six to nine months and over $1 million in funding," Mittal shared. He noted that his total investment for this rapid development was around $600, covering tokens and computational costs. Among the three applications he unveiled, the first is called Simple Notes, designed as a complete alternative to Apple Notes, with seamless synchronization across all devices including iOS, Mac, Web, and Android. The second application, Lumenote, is positioned to compete with the knowledge-management platform Obsidian, featuring integrated AI that enhances its markdown handling capabilities. The third tool, CleoAI, serves as a conversational assistant accessible via Telegram, eliminating the need for a separate app. Mittal also mentioned that OpenClaw itself is too complex for average users, prompting him to create a more user-friendly interface. He remarked, "OC is too technical for a normie… So a version that my girlfriend and siblings can use is on the way." The applications are currently pending approval from Apple for distribution and have been built using cloud services such as Vercel, Railway, and Supabase. In addition to the apps, Mittal highlighted a suite of AI agents designed to perform tasks typically assigned to employees. One standout agent, referred to as "Sam," acts as his chief of staff, coordinating emails, calendars, bookings, and more. Mittal noted that Sam has been managing a significant volume of communication and tasks, often without others realizing they are interacting with an AI. Another agent, named "Midas," oversees a cryptocurrency portfolio, executing trades and managing risk according to established strategies while generating daily performance reports. Mittal emphasized that Midas has full access to exchange APIs but cannot withdraw funds, ensuring a secure trading environment. Lastly, an agent called "Ritam" is dedicated to advancing research in theoretical physics and gravity, synthesizing insights from contemporary scientific literature and ancient texts. Mittal explained that every theoretical insight derived by Ritam is assessed for its practical application. Mittal’s innovations highlight the burgeoning capabilities of agent-based AI systems that can autonomously plan, execute, and manage complex tasks with minimal human oversight—a trend that is increasingly shaping the technology landscape. He concluded by indicating that he is already working on additional specialized agents, including those focused on marketing and distribution, hinting at the expansive potential of AI in streamlining operations across various sectors.
