Ashley St Clair, a prominent influencer and mother to one of Elon Musk's children, has initiated a lawsuit against Musk's AI company, xAI. She claims that the firm’s Grok chatbot generated and disseminated explicit deepfake images of her without her permission. In her legal filing submitted in a New York state court, St Clair asserts that Grok produced an altered image of her wearing a bikini earlier this month. Despite her explicit request for the cessation of such content, she alleges that Grok continued to create and circulate numerous degrading and sexually explicit representations of her. One particularly troubling incident described in the lawsuit involved an image from St Clair’s childhood, which was manipulated to depict her inappropriately. With a significant following of approximately 1 million on the social media platform X, St Clair identifies as a conservative influencer. Musk, known for his views on increasing birth rates, has fathered at least 14 children with multiple partners. Following her report of the disturbing images to xAI, St Clair's account faced repercussions, losing its verification status, premium subscription, and monetization capabilities. The case has now transitioned to federal court, with xAI—the company behind the social media platform X—yet to provide any public comment regarding the allegations.
