Infinix Hot 60i 5G with 6,000mAh battery to launch soon in India

Infinix, the Transsion-owned smartphone manufacturer, is gearing up to introduce a new addition to its budget lineup—the Hot 60i 5G. Following the launch of the Hot 60 5G last month, the company has begun teasing this variant, revealing significant details such as its chipset, battery capacity, and color options. The Hot 60i 5G will be available for purchase on Flipkart as well as Infinix's official website, mirroring the sales strategy used for its other devices in India. This latest model will come in four attractive colors: Shadow Blue, Monsoon Green, Sleek Black, and Plum Red. Infinix is taking a bold step with the design of the Hot 60i, featuring a distinctive pill-shaped horizontal camera module, a design that has drawn comparisons to the upcoming iPhone 17 Air. This sleek camera arrangement, along with the brand's use of solid colors, contributes to a minimalist yet elegant appearance on the back, complemented by Infinix branding at the bottom. While a specific launch date remains unconfirmed, indications suggest that the budget-friendly smartphone will hit the market later this month. The Hot 60i will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, which is also utilized in devices like the realme P3x and Lava Storm Lite. One of the standout features of this phone is its substantial 6,000mAh battery, claimed to be the largest in its category. Additionally, the device will boast an IP64 rating, providing resistance against dust and splashes, though it is not waterproof. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the dual-camera system, featuring a primary 50MP lens equipped with LED flash, HDR, and panorama capabilities. The device is expected to operate on Infinix's XOS 15, which is based on Android 15, and will include a range of AI functionalities such as AI Eraser, AI Extender, AI Call Translation, and Circle to Search. While pricing details are yet to be disclosed, it is anticipated that the Hot 60i will start at around ₹10,000, ensuring it remains competitive in the market without overlapping with the company’s own Infinix Note 50x.
