Infinix has officially announced the upcoming launch of its latest gaming-centric smartphone, the GT 30 5G+, scheduled for August 8 in India. This release follows closely on the heels of the GT 30 Pro, which featured the innovative Cyber Mecha 2.0 design with an LED light interface on its back. Ahead of the launch, Infinix has revealed several exciting specifications and features of the GT 30 5G+. The smartphone will be offered in three striking color options: Pulse Green, Cyber Blue, and Blade White. Notably, while the Blade White variant also appeared with the GT 30, the other two colors are exclusive to the new 5G+ model. Teaser images suggest that all three colors will come equipped with white LED lights on the back, a shift from the GT 30 Pro, which featured one variant with RGB lighting. Infinix has introduced customizable LED light patterns for notifications and alerts, offering three distinct modes: ‘breathe’, ‘meteor’, and ‘rhythm’. These can be tailored to suit over ten different scenarios, including incoming calls and gaming notifications. Building on the features from the GT 30 Pro, the GT 30 5G+ includes touch-sensitive capacitive shoulder triggers on the right side, allowing users to set them for various in-game tasks or quick access to camera controls and app launches. The GT 30 5G+ boasts a stunning 1.5K AMOLED display, featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for durability, and an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, which supports configurations of up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This chipset is also found in devices like the iQOO Z10R and Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. Operating on Infinix's XOS 15, based on Android 15, the GT 30 5G+ is equipped with a range of AI functionalities. These include features like Circle to Search, an AI call assistant, an AI writing assistant, and an AI Magic Voice Changer designed specifically for gaming. While Infinix has not disclosed the exact pricing for the GT 30 5G+, it is anticipated to be competitively priced under ₹20,000, especially with the GT 30 Pro starting around ₹25,000. This positions the GT 30 5G+ directly against contenders like the CMF Phone 2 Pro and Poco X6 Pro.
