Infinix GT 30 5G+ with Dimensity 7400 chip, 5,500mAh battery launched in India

Infinix has unveiled the GT 30 5G+, the latest addition to its smartphone lineup, following the earlier release of the GT 30 Pro. This new model is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, ensuring robust performance, and boasts a substantial 5,500mAh battery. The GT 30 5G+ retains the impressive AMOLED display found in its predecessor. Retailing at ₹19,499 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage version and ₹20,999 for the 8GB RAM/256GB variant, buyers can take advantage of an exclusive ₹1,500 discount for ICICI Bank cardholders, bringing the effective prices down to ₹17,999 and ₹19,499, respectively. The device will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting August 14. The smartphone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz LTPS AMOLED display, which reaches peak brightness levels of 4,500 nits and can achieve 1,600 nits in High Brightness Mode. The screen is safeguarded by Corning's Gorilla Glass 7i, and the device is rated IP64 for water resistance, capable of withstanding splashes and light rain. Visually, the GT 30 5G+ shares a striking resemblance to the GT 30 Pro, featuring shoulder triggers, a vertical camera arrangement, and LED lighting on the rear, all encapsulated in what Infinix refers to as the Cyber Mecha 2.0 design. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Dimensity 7400 processor paired with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, alongside up to 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. On the photography front, the rear houses a 64MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, while a 13MP front-facing camera is capable of recording in 4K at 30fps, matching the rear camera's capabilities. With a focus on endurance, the GT 30 is supported by a 5,500mAh battery that enables 45W wired fast charging and 10W reverse charging. The device runs on Infinix's latest XOS 15, built on Android 15, and promises two years of OS updates along with three years of security patches.
