IICT marks fresh chapter with new batches, focusing on cutting-edge tech courses

The Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) has officially kicked off its new academic batches, heralding a significant advancement in its commitment to develop the next wave of creative technologists in India. With a foundational belief that creativity flourishes at the crossroads of art, innovation, and technology, IICT aims to offer forward-thinking programs that equip students to excel in the rapidly changing Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics (AVGC) sectors, as well as the broader media industry. This year, IICT has introduced a variety of state-of-the-art courses tailored to meet the evolving demands of the global digital landscape. Among these offerings is the six-month Specialisation in Media Tech Workflow, which provides practical training on comprehensive media production processes and post-production technologies. Additionally, the six-month Certificate Programme in Environment Art for Video Games focuses on cultivating both artistic and technical skills essential for creating immersive game environments. Notably, the AI Powered AVGC Course, a one-month intensive program, immerses participants in the transformative impact of artificial intelligence within animation, visual effects, gaming, and comics. In a statement regarding the new batches, Vishwas Deoskar, CEO of IICT, expressed enthusiasm about welcoming students to an environment where creativity meets technology. He emphasized, "Our mission is to empower young creators with not only technical skills but also the innovative mindset necessary to lead in this dynamic field. The creative technology sector is evolving swiftly, and our programs are crafted to ensure students are not merely participants in this change; they are at the forefront of it." With a strong focus on industry alignment, experiential learning, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, IICT remains dedicated to developing well-rounded professionals prepared to make significant contributions to the global creative economy. As the new academic year begins, the institute reaffirms its vision to transform ideas into impactful realities, fostering a generation of creators who think beyond conventional boundaries and shape the future of digital storytelling.
