HP OmniBook 3 and 5 Series launched in India with AMD and Snapdragon processors

HP has launched its latest series of AI-enabled laptops in India, featuring the OmniBook 5 and OmniBook 3 lines. These models are designed to be the company's most budget-friendly AI PCs yet, targeting students, professionals, and everyday consumers looking for dependable performance coupled with advanced AI capabilities. The OmniBook 5 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus processor, while the OmniBook 3 series utilizes AMD’s cutting-edge Ryzen AI 300 processors. Both product lines are equipped with dedicated Neural Processing Units (NPUs), which can perform an impressive 50 trillion operations per second, ensuring seamless AI-enhanced experiences across various applications, including video conferencing and productivity tools. Vineet Gehani, Senior Director – Personal Systems at HP India, emphasized the company's commitment to making AI technology more accessible. "With the launch of our new HP OmniBook next-gen AI PCs, we are making AI technology more accessible to a wider range of users. This new lineup offers intelligent features, strong performance, and thoughtful design at an affordable price point," he stated. Key features of the OmniBook 5 (14-inch) include the Snapdragon X Plus X1-26-100 processor, which delivers the world's longest battery life in an ultra-slim design, capable of lasting up to 34 hours. Additionally, it boasts a stunning 2K OLED display, Windows Studio Effects with AI-powered auto framing, and HP Audio Boost 2.0 for an enhanced multimedia experience. On the other hand, the OmniBook 3 comes in both 14-inch and 15.6-inch variants, powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors. These models support AI-assisted collaboration tools, featuring HP True Vision cameras and dual microphones with noise reduction technology. The larger 15.6-inch model also offers an impressive 85% screen-to-body ratio. All models come equipped with on-device AI features, including the HP AI Companion and built-in Copilot+ integration with a dedicated key. Connectivity options are plentiful, featuring USB Type-C, USB Type-A, and HDMI ports. The new laptops are offered in Glacier Silver and are available for purchase through HP’s online store and various retail outlets. Pricing begins at ₹75,999 for the OmniBook 5 (14-inch) and ₹69,999 for the 14-inch and 15.6-inch OmniBook 3 models.
