Honor X9C with 6.7 inch AMOLED display, 6,600mAh battery launched in India

Honor has made a notable return to the Indian smartphone market with the introduction of the Honor X9C, a mid-range device that promises to impress. This new smartphone showcases a striking 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display, a powerful 6,600mAh battery, and a 108MP primary camera, all of which are powered by an Android 15-based user interface. With a competitive launch price of ₹21,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model, the X9C is positioned to rival other popular devices such as the iQOO Neo 10R, Realme P3 Ultra, and the forthcoming OnePlus Nord CE 5. To sweeten the deal, Honor is offering special launch promotions until July 14, including an instant discount of ₹1,250 and an additional ₹750 off through bank offers, effectively lowering the price to ₹19,999. Available in two sleek color options—Titanium Black and Jade Cyan—the Honor X9C will be exclusively sold on Amazon starting July 12. The device boasts an impressive 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate on its AMOLED display, supporting a full DCI P3 color gamut and achieving peak brightness of 4,000 nits. Furthermore, the phone is equipped with a scratch-resistant glass front, although the manufacturer of this protective glass remains unspecified. Designed with durability in mind, the X9C carries an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance, making it resilient against splashes and light rain, although it is not intended for submersion. Weighing just 189 grams and measuring a slim 7.98mm in thickness, it combines portability with robust performance. Under the hood, the Honor X9C is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor paired with an Adreno 710 GPU, ensuring smooth operation alongside its 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the dual-camera setup, featuring a 108MP Samsung HM6 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), complemented by a 5MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, there's a 16MP front-facing camera. Overall, with its impressive specifications and attractive pricing, the Honor X9C is poised to make a strong impact in the competitive mid-range smartphone segment in India.
