Honor X9c India launch on 7 July: Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, 108MP camera, 6600mAh battery

Honor has officially revealed its latest flagship smartphone, the HONOR X9c 5G, set to hit the Indian market on July 7, 2025, exclusively via Amazon. This new device boasts a remarkable 108MP main camera, featuring both optical and electronic image stabilization (OIS and EIS). Enhanced with AI capabilities such as Motion Sensing and an AI Eraser tool, the camera is designed to deliver stunning photo quality, including a HIGH-RES mode for superior detail and clarity. The smartphone is equipped with a striking 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display, offering a resolution of 1.5K and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Honor emphasizes that this display is not only visually captivating but also engineered for prolonged viewing comfort. Durability is a key highlight of the X9c 5G, which has earned SGS certification for its impressive drop resistance. Designed to endure water and dust exposure, this device can withstand falls from heights of up to 2 meters, all while maintaining a sleek 7.98mm profile. Consumers can choose between two elegant colors: Titanium Black and Jade Cyan, both featuring a premium matte finish. At its core, the smartphone operates on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, complemented by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It runs on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15, offering innovative features like Magic Portal for seamless cross-app interaction and gesture-based navigation. Honor touts the system's ability to adapt to users' habits through intelligent AI optimization. Powering this device is a robust 6600mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is claimed to provide up to three days of usage on a single charge, along with support for 66W fast charging capabilities. According to Honor's brand partner in India, CP Khandelwal, CEO of PSAV India, the X9c 5G addresses the growing demand for smartphones that combine longevity and reliability for everyday use. "With the Honor X9c 5G, we’ve set new standards in durability and real-world performance," he stated, highlighting improvements in after-sales service infrastructure in India. The HONOR X9c 5G will officially be available from July 12, with pricing details to be disclosed on July 7, coinciding with the launch.
