Honor has officially announced the impending launch of its latest mid-range smartphone, the Honor X7C, in India. While the exact release date remains under wraps, the company has disclosed that this new model will be exclusively available on Amazon. The Honor X7C boasts a sizable 6.77-inch HD+ LCD display, featuring an impressive 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 850 nits. Additionally, this device is designed to withstand everyday challenges with an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, allowing it to endure splashes and light rain, although full submersion is not recommended. Audio enthusiasts will appreciate the device’s stereo speaker setup, which includes a 300% high volume mode for enhanced sound experience. Under the hood, the Honor X7C is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, a chip that has also been utilized in devices like the Lava Blaze Dragon and Vivo Y400 5G. Equipped with a generous 5,200mAh battery, the smartphone supports rapid charging at 35W. Users can expect 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, although specific details regarding the type of RAM and storage have yet to be unveiled. The camera capabilities are highlighted by a 50MP rear sensor, with further information on additional sensors still pending. Honor has revealed that the X7C will be offered in two attractive color options: Forest Green and Moonlight White. Following the recent launch of the Honor X9C in India, which operates on Magic OS 8.0 based on Android 14, it is likely that the X7C will feature the same operating system. The company is already teasing notable features, including a dynamic capsule for calls and music playback, reminiscent of the Dynamic Island, and a three-finger gesture for easy bookmarking. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new device from Honor!
