In a remarkable achievement, the IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026 has made history by securing a spot in the Guinness World Records for the most student pledges committed to responsible AI usage in a single day. Initially aiming for just 5,000 pledges, the event witnessed an astonishing response, with a staggering 250,946 pledges collected within 24 hours. The record-setting moment was announced by Pravin Patel, a Guinness World Records Adjudicator. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw attributed this monumental success to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the announcement, he emphasized the importance of educating youth about the ethical use of AI, stating, "It was the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi that inspired us to engage with schools and colleges for this initiative." Vaishnaw elaborated on the outreach efforts that led to the unprecedented response, saying, "I would like to extend my gratitude to our Honourable Prime Minister for his commitment to nurturing responsible AI practices among the youth.
