AI startup H2LooP raises $2 million funding led by Speciale Invest, 3one4 Capital

H2LooP, an innovative startup specializing in AI-driven system software, has successfully secured $2 million in seed funding, primarily backed by Speciale Invest and 3one4 Capital. This investment, confirmed on March 7, aims to accelerate the development of tools tailored for hardware-centric industries. Based in Bengaluru, the company plans to utilize the funds to enhance its core platform, broaden enterprise deployment capabilities, and explore new markets, including data centers, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and robotics. Founded by Sairanjan Mishra and Pulkit Agrawal, H2LooP is dedicated to creating AI-native tools that expedite system software development for hardware systems, an increasingly critical area that has seen limited advancement despite significant progress in chip technology and intelligent systems. CEO and co-founder Sairanjan Mishra noted, “The demand from enterprises for modernized system engineering workflows is substantial. H2LooP’s platform provides immediate benefits by shortening development cycles and enhancing code quality, making it an attractive option for teams tackling complex systems.” The startup is also working on a specialized data platform for hardware engineering, which will include domain-specific coding models designed for software embedded in physical systems. These models will feature integrated verification and validation layers to ensure reliability. Co-founder Pulkit Agrawal emphasized the importance of developing an infrastructure layer that prevents software from hindering the effective deployment of advanced hardware, stating, “By rethinking system software construction, we're enabling hardware teams to streamline their processes without compromising reliability.” Investors recognize the significance of H2LooP's mission. Arjun Rao, founding partner at Speciale Invest, remarked, “As AI increasingly permeates physical systems, the demand for software that can keep pace with rapidly advancing hardware innovation is critical. H2LooP is tackling a technical issue that has been largely overlooked, crafting AI-native infrastructure for systems software that will be essential for future hardware advancements.” Dhanush Ram, investment principal at Speciale Invest, added, “In critical systems, the limitations often stem from system software, particularly in development, verification, and validation under real-world conditions. H2LooP is addressing this challenge by incorporating AI into the system software layer, ensuring reliable production at scale and facilitating quicker iterations.” Sonal Saldanha, principal at 3one4 Capital, noted the growing need for expedited and dependable system software development as hardware systems become increasingly software-defined. H2LooP is already collaborating with semiconductor firms, defense agencies, and telecom original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and it has been selected for the prestigious Infineon Global Startup Program.
