At this year's I/O conference, Google CEO Sundar Pichai unveiled astonishing statistics highlighting the company's advancements in artificial intelligence. The name 'Google' itself is derived from the term 'googol,' representing an incredibly large number, and this seems to resonate with the latest figures shared by Pichai. He announced that Google is now processing a staggering 3.2 quadrillion AI tokens each month, a significant leap from 480 trillion just a year ago and an increase from 9.7 trillion in May 2024. In addition, Pichai revealed that over 375 customers of Google Cloud have utilized more than 1 trillion tokens in the past year.
