Google brings free NEET UG mock tests to Gemini, aims to boost student prep with AI

In an effort to enhance accessibility in exam preparation, Google has unveiled complimentary mock tests for the NEET UG exam on its AI platform, Gemini. This innovative feature allows students to replicate the actual exam experience, gaining valuable insights into their performance. With this latest update, students can now tackle full-length NEET mock exams directly within the Gemini platform. These tests are specifically designed to help users pinpoint their weak areas and refine their preparation strategies over time. To ensure high quality and relevance, Google has collaborated with prominent education platforms such as Physics Wallah and Careers360, ensuring that the mock tests align closely with the format and difficulty of the real NEET UG exam. This addition to the Gemini platform is part of a broader initiative by Google to advance educational tools. Previously, Gemini has offered practice exams for other competitive assessments like the JEE Main and SAT, solidifying its position as a hub for AI-driven learning resources. Accessing the NEET mock tests is straightforward. Students can initiate the process by simply entering a prompt like, “I want to take a NEET mock exam” on Gemini. The platform then promptly generates a complete question paper that reflects the structure of the actual test. Currently, this feature is available only in English. Beyond merely taking tests, students can leverage Gemini to review their answers comprehensively. The AI provides step-by-step explanations of concepts and highlights mistakes, fostering a more interactive learning experience compared to conventional mock tests. Best of all, Google has made this resource available free of charge to all users. Anyone with a Google account, whether personal or Google Workspace, can access the NEET mock tests via the Gemini app. The rollout of this feature is already underway, accessible under both Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains.
