In a significant move, Google has introduced PixelSnap, its very own magnetic accessory system designed for the recently launched Pixel 10 series. This announcement marks a notable moment, nearly five years after Apple debuted its magnetic accessory lineup with the iPhone 12. PixelSnap enables users to easily attach a variety of accessories, such as wireless chargers, stands, and grips, directly to their Pixel 10 devices. Alongside this new system, Google is also rolling out PixelSnap cases and a range of compatible accessories. One of the standout offerings is the Ring Stand, which conveniently attaches to the phone and can be pulled out to serve as a stand. All the latest Pixel devices support the Qi2 wireless charging standard. Specifically, the Pixel 10 Pro XL boasts a robust 25W wireless charging capability, while the other models—including the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, and 10 Fold—offer 15W wireless charging. Accompanying PixelSnap is a new charger, which comes with an optional stand. This versatile charger allows users to lay their phone flat or prop it up while charging, making it ideal for multitasking or displaying home control widgets. Pricing for the PixelSnap accessories starts at $49.99 for the cases, with the Ring Stand priced at $29.99. The PixelSnap charger is available for $39.99, while the complete charger and stand package is offered at $69.99. Google also highlighted that the Pixel 10 series is compatible with various accessories, including car mounts and chargers from Made for Google partners, as well as selected MagSafe items.
