Google brings new shopping experiences to Gemini app, AI Mode and Circle to Search

Google has unveiled a series of AI-enhanced features across its platforms, notably in the Gemini app, as well as updates to AI Mode and Circle to Search. A significant highlight is the integration of Gemini AI models with the Shopping Graph, a vast database boasting 50 billion products, with approximately 2 billion items refreshed hourly. This update aims to revolutionize the shopping experience on Search through AI Mode, offering users a more interactive way to shop. Additionally, Google has improved its Circle to Search functionality for selected Android devices, enhancing the overall user experience. The Gemini app now introduces a shopping feature that enables users to brainstorm outfit ideas, compile gift lists, or explore products within a unified chat interface. With this tool, users can access product listings, price comparisons, and purchase options seamlessly. The feature, powered by the Shopping Graph, will support both English and Hindi languages. In a major enhancement for AI Mode, Google is launching its most comprehensive shopping upgrade yet for Search in India. When users inquire about shopping, they will receive an intelligently organized response that includes visuals, pricing, reviews, and real-time inventory details all in one place, available in both English and Hindi. Furthermore, the Circle to Search feature has been upgraded on devices like the Pixel 10 and Samsung Galaxy S26 series, allowing users to identify multiple objects in a single image at once. As Google explained in a blog post, if you come across an outfit you admire on social media, you can easily search for each item—from tops to shoes—simultaneously by simply tapping, scribbling, or circling the entire outfit to break down the look.
