Google unveils Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL; see India pricing and features

In a groundbreaking announcement, Google has unveiled its latest smartphone lineup featuring the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL, all equipped with the cutting-edge Tensor G5 chip and the innovative Gemini Nano model. The tech giant claims that this generation of devices is the most personalized and helpful to date, thanks to the integration of advanced AI capabilities directly into the smartphones. The Pixel 10 series showcases a stylish redesign, complete with a sleek camera bar, support for Pixelsnap Qi2 wireless charging, and compatibility with new magnetic accessories. Notably, Google is emphasizing sustainability in this launch, utilizing more recycled materials than in any previous iteration of the Pixel. These new models will be the first to feature Material 3 Expressive, offering a fresh interface with smooth animations, interactive elements, and extensive personalization options. Users can expect long-term support, with all three devices guaranteed seven years of Pixel Drops, alongside regular OS and security updates. The Pixel 10 sports a 6.3-inch Actua display, boasting an impressive brightness of 3000 nits, making it ideal for outdoor use. Enhanced audio capabilities and a newly introduced 5x telephoto lens promise fast autofocus and up to 20x zoom through Super Res Zoom. At the core of this innovative series is the Tensor G5, Google's most powerful custom silicon yet, developed in collaboration with DeepMind. This chip facilitates on-device generative AI experiences, including a feature called Magic Cue. This smart functionality works across various applications like Google Messages and Phone, providing users with pertinent information in real-time. For instance, during a call with an airline, it can automatically retrieve flight details from your email and display them. Camera enthusiasts will benefit from significant enhancements, as the Pixel 10 series introduces Camera Coach—an AI assistant that offers tips for better framing and composition for novice photographers. The Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL elevate photography further with Pro Res Zoom, allowing for up to 100x zoom powered by the Tensor G5, featuring an advanced generative imaging model that enhances details rather than merely cropping images. Preorders for the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL are now live, starting at ₹79,999, ₹1,09,999, and ₹1,24,999, respectively. Customers who choose the Pro models will also receive a complimentary one-year subscription to Google AI Pro. All three smartphones will officially launch on August 28, available through the Google Store and select retail partners.
