The Bengaluru-based AI startup, Gnani.ai, is currently engaged in talks with investors to secure new funding. This initiative comes as the demand for enterprise voice automation continues to surge both in India and internationally. In an exclusive interview at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, Ganesh Gopalan, co-founder and CEO of Gnani.ai, shared that the company is actively interacting with various investment funds. However, Gopalan chose not to reveal specific details regarding the potential funding size, company valuation, or timeline for this new investment round. Gnani.ai has previously raised approximately $4 million (around Rs 30 crore) from Info Edge, highlighting its growing recognition in the sector. The startup currently boasts over 200 enterprise clients across the globe, with more than 100 new customer additions in this financial year alone. A significant portion of their clientele comes from the banking and financial services sectors, where their technology is utilized for functions like customer onboarding, collections, and support. Moreover, Gnani.ai is expanding its reach beyond Indian borders, establishing a presence in markets such as Japan, Indonesia, the Middle East, and the United States. This move comes on the heels of the company launching a new voice-to-voice AI system as part of the government-supported IndiaAI Mission, which aims to bolster India's domestic AI capabilities.
