Michael Pratt, the owner of GirlsDoPorn, has been sentenced to 27 years in prison for his role in a sex trafficking conspiracy. This ruling came after Pratt pleaded guilty to charges including sex trafficking through coercion and conspiracy to commit such acts. His arrest followed years of evasion, culminating in his capture in Spain and subsequent extradition to the United States. The U.S. Department of Justice described Pratt as the architect of a multimillion-dollar criminal operation that preyed on vulnerable young women. Through deceit and manipulation, he drew them into the world of pornography, broadcasting their exploitation to a wide audience online. At the sentencing held in the Southern District of California, it was revealed that Pratt had exploited hundreds of victims, with 40 women sharing their harrowing experiences in court. The victims, aged between 18 and 21, recounted their traumatic encounters in hotel rooms in San Diego, where they faced coercion, abuse, and violence. One victim powerfully addressed Pratt, labeling him as "evil" and a "predator," stating, "Your ego was too big to believe you'd ever get caught but karma comes around. It is your turn now to suffer." Judge Janis Sammartino remarked on the unprecedented nature of the case, emphasizing its vast scope and the severe impact on the victims. In addition to the lengthy prison term, Pratt will face 10 years of supervised release following his incarceration. A restitution hearing is set for November 7, and Pratt's crimes necessitate his registration as a sex offender. Notably, the sentence exceeded the government's recommendation, which suggested a term of 21 years and eight months.
