GIGABYTE unveils AI-powered motherboards and expands vision with Beyond Edge

GIGABYTE Technology has introduced cutting-edge AI-enhanced hardware, featuring its latest X870E AORUS X3D motherboards, as part of its initiative themed 'BEYOND EDGE'. This launch signifies the company's ongoing commitment to embedding artificial intelligence into its diverse product lineup, which includes gaming equipment, professional computing solutions, and extensive AI applications. The newly unveiled X870E AORUS X3D motherboards are tailored for AMD's Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 Series processors. A standout feature is the AI-powered X3D Turbo Mode 2.0, designed to analyze real-time data and enhance gaming performance by as much as 25%. Furthermore, these motherboards support impressive DDR5 memory speeds reaching up to 9000 MT/s, thanks to the innovative D5 Bionic Corsa technology. They also come equipped with advanced thermal solutions and user-friendly installation enhancements, catering to both gaming enthusiasts and professionals. In terms of connectivity, users can expect robust options, including 10GbE and 5GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 7 capabilities, dual USB4 Type-C ports, and HDMI output. During the GIGABYTE EVENT, the company also shared its expansive AI strategy. The 'BEYOND EDGE' initiative builds on its previous 'LEADING EDGE' framework, focusing on three core areas: Beyond Boundaries, Beyond the Device, and Beyond Performance. For AI development, GIGABYTE introduced the AI TOP Ecosystem, which offers scalable platforms and tools capable of managing models with up to 685 billion parameters. Notable products include the AI TOP ATOM, featuring NVIDIA’s Grace Blackwell Superchip, and the AORUS AI BOX series of external GPUs, specifically crafted for developers and content creators who need portable or high-performance AI acceleration. Additionally, GIGABYTE has launched a new range of AI gaming laptops that incorporate RTX AI, Copilot+ PC integration, and an in-house AI assistant named 'GiMATE'. The product lineup includes high-performance models like the AORUS MASTER Series, along with sleeker options such as the AERO X16. On the desktop side, the AORUS PRIME 5 PC merges AMD Ryzen 9000 X3D processors with NVIDIA RTX 5080 graphics, supported by an upgraded cooling system. GIGABYTE also provided a glimpse of future motherboards, including the top-tier X870E AORUS XTREME AI TOP X3D and a unique wood-themed model, the X870E AERO X3D WOOD.
