The highly anticipated Realme 16 Pro series is set to make its debut in India, with the brand beginning to unveil some of its standout features. Known for its camera-centric designs, Realme has teased an intriguing aspect of the new lineup: it will include LumaColor IMAGE, a proprietary imaging technology aimed at enhancing photography. This new series will showcase a triple rear camera configuration, potentially offering impressive zoom capabilities of up to 10x. Furthermore, the Realme 16 Pro models will be powered by a Snapdragon processor, although the specific model has yet to be disclosed. Among the AI-driven features, users can look forward to enhancements like AI Edit Genie 2.0, AI Style Me, and AI Light Me, which are designed to elevate the photography experience. The lineup is expected to comprise two variants: the Realme 16 Pro+ and the standard Realme 16 Pro. The official launch is anticipated in early 2026, with January 6 being speculated as the release date. The Pro model is rumored to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, similar to its Chinese counterpart, and boast a substantial 7,000mAh battery. This powerful battery is expected to provide up to 9.3 hours of gaming, around 21 hours of YouTube video playback, 20.8 hours on Instagram, and approximately 125 hours of music streaming on Spotify. Additionally, the smartphone will run on RealmeUI 7, based on Android 16, promising three years of major operating system updates and four years of security updates. The pricing for the Realme 16 Pro series is expected to fall between Rs 35,000 and Rs 40,000 in India, but all details will be confirmed during the official launch event.
