Black Ops 7 Multiplayer: 18 Maps, new Overload Mode, and Beta dates confirmed

Activision has unveiled the multiplayer segment of the much-anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, giving gamers an exciting glimpse of what to expect before the game's launch on November 14. Players will dive into a diverse array of 18 multiplayer maps, which include 16 traditional 6v6 maps and two expansive 20v20 Skirmish maps crafted for intense combat scenarios. The maps promise a variety of settings, catering to different play styles—from swift, close-quarters skirmishes to larger, tactical battlefields that demand strategic thinking. Launch maps will include names like Blackheart, Cortex, and Exposure, alongside classic favorites from Black Ops 2 such as Express, Hijacked, and Raid. The Skirmish maps, named Mission: Edge and Mission: Tide, will introduce vehicles, wingsuits, and objective-driven gameplay, enhancing the overall battlefield dynamics. In addition to well-loved modes like Team Deathmatch and Domination, Black Ops 7 will debut a brand-new 6v6 mode termed Overload, where teams vie for control over a central overload device. The game will also feature classic modes like Search and Destroy and Gunfight, with the beta and full game showcasing a range of gameplay experiences. Players can look forward to innovative systems within the multiplayer framework, including the Overclock system, new perks, field upgrades, and advanced movement capabilities like wall jumps and tactical sprints. Customizable loadouts, weapons, scorestreaks, and operators will further enhance strategic gameplay. Early access to the Black Ops 7 beta kicks off on October 2 for pre-orders, with an open beta available to all players from October 5 to October 8. Activision is set to provide more insights during the upcoming Call of Duty Next livestream on September 30 at 9 AM PT, where developers will reveal additional details regarding Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone features. Black Ops 7 will be playable across multiple platforms, including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
