Mac users have long sought ways to enjoy Windows games on their preferred devices, utilizing tools like CrossOver and the Game Porting Toolkit. Now, GameSir is entering the fray with plans to introduce a macOS version of its Windows emulation tool designed for Android. Based in Hong Kong, GameSir has established itself in the gaming peripheral market, marketing itself as 'the Anti-Stick Drift Experts.' Last year, the company launched the Android GameHub app, featuring the GameFusion emulator, which it claims offers extensive support for running Windows games on Android through a high-precision compatibility approach. However, early feedback on GameHub and GameFusion for Android has revealed mixed results. Users on platforms like Reddit and EmuReady have reported inconsistent compatibility with popular Steam games, highlighting both successes and failures. Some users noted that games built on Unity, Godot, or Game Maker tend to run smoothly, while others have expressed frustration over poor compatibility across various titles. With their latest announcement, GameSir is promising a similar solution for Mac users, claiming that they will soon be able to 'unlock your entire Steam library' and run Windows games natively. Additionally, GameSir is introducing 'proprietary AI frame interpolation' for Mac, alongside a newly rolled out 'native rendering mode' aimed at enhancing frame rates in the Android variant.
