Acknowledging the growing concerns, Fortnite Status communicated that they were aware of the matchmaking difficulties affecting users. By Tuesday evening, Epic Games announced that the downtime would be prolonged due to an unforeseen problem uncovered during offline testing. According to Downdetector, over 800 players in the United States reported issues, with 80 percent of them experiencing server connection troubles. Additionally, 12 percent faced login difficulties, while 7 percent encountered various gameplay interruptions.
