CMF Headphone Pro launched with ANC, interchangeable cushions, 100-hour battery life

CMF, a subsidiary of Nothing, has unveiled its latest innovation in audio technology: the CMF Headphone Pro. This new model breaks away from the brand's signature transparent design, opting for a more conventional over-ear style while maintaining a commitment to personalization. Available in Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Light Green, the CMF Headphone Pro also features interchangeable ear cushions in Light Green and Orange, allowing users to tailor both the look and sound comfort of their headphones. The headphones are equipped with 40mm dynamic drivers, nickel-plated diaphragms, and a 16.5mm copper voice coil within a dual-chamber structure. Supporting Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification and the LDAC codec, these headphones utilize Audiodo’s Personal Sound technology, which customizes audio profiles after a brief calibration test. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature can diminish background noise by up to 40dB, adjusting automatically according to the surrounding environment, while a transparency mode is also available. For user interaction, the headphones come with a multifunctional roller dial for easy volume and playback control, an Energy Slider for bass and treble adjustments, and a programmable button to access features like Spatial Audio or voice assistants quickly. The Static Spatial Audio mode offers both Cinema and Concert settings for enhanced soundstage experience. Battery life is a standout aspect, with CMF claiming an impressive 100 hours of playback without ANC and 50 hours with it activated. Fast charging via USB-C allows for five hours of playback from just a five-minute charge, with a full charge taking about two hours. Retailing at $99 in the United States, €99 in Europe, and £79 in the UK, the CMF Headphone Pro is already available for purchase in the UK and EU through the Nothing website and select partners, while U.S. sales are set to begin on October 7. There has yet to be any announcement regarding availability in India.
