Pixel 10 Pro lineup leaked: Tensor G5 chip, up to 1TB storage and more tipped

With the excitement building around Google's forthcoming flagship smartphones, recent leaks have provided intriguing insights into the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL. While the official launch date is still unknown, sources suggest that we might see the devices debut in August. According to information from Android Headlines, the Pixel 10 Pro series is set to deliver notable enhancements compared to its predecessors, the Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL. A standout feature is the anticipated integration of Google's proprietary Tensor G5 chipset, which is expected to come with up to 16GB of RAM. Storage options for the Pixel 10 Pro are likely to include 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and a massive 1TB, while the larger Pixel 10 Pro XL may begin with a minimum of 256GB. Both models are rumored to feature vibrant LTPO OLED displays, boasting refresh rates of up to 120Hz and peak brightness levels reaching 3,000 nits. The Pixel 10 Pro is expected to sport a 6.3-inch display, while the Pro XL could feature a larger 6.8-inch screen. Durability is also a focus, with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 said to protect both the front and back of these devices. On the photography front, Google is reportedly sticking to a familiar setup. The rear camera arrangement is expected to mirror that of previous models, featuring a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom capabilities. Both the ultra-wide and telephoto cameras may also support macro photography. Up front, users could enjoy an upgraded 42MP selfie camera. Battery performance is anticipated to see some enhancements as well. The Pixel 10 Pro is rumored to include a 4,870mAh battery, slightly larger than the previous 4,700mAh unit, and may feature a larger vapor chamber to enhance thermal management. The Pixel 10 Pro XL is expected to be equipped with a 5,200mAh battery, potentially the largest ever in a Pixel device. Charging technology is also set for improvements, with the Pixel 10 Pro likely supporting 29W wired charging, while the XL variant could offer up to 39W. Both smartphones are expected to support 15W wireless charging, making them competitive in the fast-charging arena.
