Flipkart is gearing up for its highly-anticipated annual Freedom Sale, set to kick off in early August, promising a wide array of discounts across various categories, including electronics, home appliances, and personal care items. Although the exact start date remains somewhat ambiguous, with conflicting information between Flipkart's mobile app and website, the app indicates that the sale will commence on August 1, while the website suggests August 2. In a special advantage for its Plus and VIP members, Flipkart will provide early access to the sale, allowing these customers to shop 24 hours before the general public. Additionally, these members can enjoy extra perks, such as a 10% discount when they use Flipkart’s Super Coins in conjunction with regular sale offers. During the event, bank offers will also be available, featuring an instant 15% discount on selected purchases. The Freedom Sale will introduce 78 unique promotional events labeled as “Freedom Deals,” “Rush Hours,” “Tick Tok,” “Exchange Offers,” and “Bumper Hours.” However, specific details regarding these promotions are yet to be unveiled. This upcoming sale follows closely on the heels of the recently concluded Flipkart GOAT Sale, which wrapped up on July 17. That event showcased enticing discounts on popular smartphones, including the iPhone 16, Nothing Phone 3a Pro, and Samsung Galaxy S24. As Flipkart and Amazon prepare for fierce competition in the lead-up to Independence Day, more information regarding the Freedom Sale 2025 is expected to be released soon. Notably, during the GOAT Sale, Flipkart offered remarkable deals on the latest iPhone 16 series, with the 128GB model priced at ₹69,999, a substantial drop from its original retail price of ₹79,900. It remains to be seen how the e-commerce leader will continue to entice customers with exclusive discounts on premium smartphones such as the iPhone in the upcoming Freedom Sale.
