Masters of the Universefinal trailer brings the ’80s nostalgia

In a wave of excitement fueled by enthusiastic early reviews, Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled the final trailer for the highly anticipated film, Masters of the Universe. This new preview is packed with '80s nostalgia, featuring numerous Easter eggs that are sure to resonate with fans who grew up during that iconic era. Directed by Travis Knight, known for his work on Bumblebee and Kubo and the Two Strings, this film serves as a modern reboot of the beloved He-Man and the Masters of the Universe series, as well as its spinoff, She-Ra: Princess of Power, along with the many other adaptations stemming from this iconic Mattel franchise. The official synopsis reveals an epic adventure as Prince Adam, played by Nicholas Galitzine, returns to the realm of Eternia after being separated for 15 years. Upon his return, he finds his home under the tyrannical grip of Skeletor, portrayed by Jared Leto. To reclaim his world and save his family, Adam must unite with his loyal companions, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), while stepping into his true role as He-Man—the most formidable hero in the universe. Alongside Galitzine, Mendes, Elba, and Leto, the cast includes Alison Brie as the cunning Professor Evelyn Powers, also known as Evil-Lyn; Morena Baccarin as the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull; and Jóhannes Haukur, who takes on the role of Malcolm/Fisto.
